House O is a contemporary residence designed around a few clear architectural ideas: proportion, light and the interaction between solid and open space. The house is composed of two simple cubic volumes but their shifts and overhangs create depth and a strong sense of structure. Large openings, deep shadows and clean horizontal lines give the facade a controlled, confident expression.

The material palette is intentionally reduced. Light cladding panels and darker concrete surfaces work as contrasting layers, while the sharp detailing around windows and terraces keeps the composition precise. The upper floor is treated as a quieter, more private volume, with a planted terrace that softens the geometry when viewed from the garden.

The outdoor spaces extend the architecture rather than frame it. The pool, shaded lounge areas and the sculptural circular fountain are arranged to create a sequence of calm exterior rooms. Their alignment with the building’s axes reinforces the overall order of the design.

House O avoids visual noise and relies instead on proportion, texture and landscape to define character. The result is a home that feels measured, grounded and closely tied to the garden that surrounds it.
