House S is a compact residential ensemble set along the edge of the Surduk cliff, overlooking the Danube and the surrounding vineyards. The location shaped the entire approach: every home is positioned to follow the landscape, with living areas and terraces oriented toward uninterrupted views.

The architecture is deliberately understated. Low, horizontal volumes, disciplined proportions and a light treatment of the facade give the houses a quiet presence that supports rather than dominates the terrain. While all units share the same structural logic, subtle shifts in layout and facade rhythm prevent repetition and allow each residence to stand on its own.

Outdoor areas function as direct continuations of the interior. Sunken fire pits, shaded dining terraces, small pools and pergolas create a series of open air rooms used throughout the day. Indoors, the palette is intentionally minimal: polished stone, soft neutral surfaces and discreet lighting maintain a consistent spatial tone and a calm visual flow.

The intention behind the project is straightforward: to shape a place where everyday life unfolds in close dialogue with the landscape.
