APARTMENT C

Location: Vienna, Austria.
Year: 2025.

Apartment C represents a comprehensive luxury apartment renovation that creates a sophisticated dialogue between historic Viennese classicism and contemporary design. The interior architecture retains its original grandeur through restored intricate ceiling roses, decorative moldings and tall french windows. This classical shell is grounded by continuous chevron oak flooring, which adds warmth and unifies the distinct zones of the residence.

The living room design is centered around a bold, textured mustard-yellow modular sofa that provides a vibrant contrast to the monochromatic architectural backdrop. The space is arranged to highlight the fireplace, flanked by symmetrical dark shelving units. A sculptural black chandelier draws the eye upward, celebrating the ornate plasterwork typical of historic Austrian properties.

The dining area is characterized by a minimalist, gallery-like atmosphere. A glossy black rectangular table is paired with chrome cantilever chairs, introducing a modernist Bauhaus aesthetic. A sleek, linear pendant light hangs above the table, its simplicity emphasizing the elaborate wall paneling and abstract white relief art in the background.

In the modern kitchen, the design shifts to a dramatic monochrome palette. Matte chocolate cabinetry with subtle shaker detailing stretches along the wall, contrasting sharply with the white marble countertops and backsplash. A large central island serves as the functional heart of the room, blending cooking utility with social space, illuminated by a modern industrial-style chandelier.

The private quarters focus on serenity and smart space planning. The bedroom features dark wardrobes that mirror the kitchen’s joinery, paired with soft, layered textiles. The ensuite bathroom continues the high contrast theme with grey stone tiling and black fixtures, creating a contemporary spa like retreat within a classic framework.
