Apartment J is a compact apartment with an open plan where the living room and kitchen share one space. The material palette is simple: darker upholstery, oiled oak flooring and warm-toned built-ins. The character comes from these base materials rather than decorative elements.

The living area is defined by a low modular sofa, a glass coffee table and a long shelf beneath the TV panel. In the kitchen, a solid island organizes the space with a thin extension used as the dining surface. Lighting is linear and unobtrusive, positioned to keep the ceiling clean.

The project focuses on practical layout, clear zoning and materials that age well without adding unnecessary components.
